DesiDealHunter is a free shopping app that helps you compare prices and find deals on popular Indian shopping sites. This policy explains what information the app uses and why.
You do not need an account to use DesiDealHunter. We do not ask for your name, email address, or password in the app.
If you do not use photo search, we do not receive a photo from you.
We use search text and selected photos only to provide app functionality: finding and showing product deals for you to compare. We do not sell this information. We do not use it for advertising, and the app does not contain ads.
Search text and selected photos are sent to the DesiDealHunter backend (hosted on Fly.io). Selected photos are processed by Google Gemini to understand the product so we can return matching listings.
The app uses the Internet permission to contact our backend and to open store listings. It does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, or files beyond the photo you choose with the system picker.
DesiDealHunter does not create a user account, so there is no in-app account page for downloading or deleting a profile. You can stop sending search text or photos at any time by not searching or by uninstalling the app.
Information is sent to our backend over HTTPS.
DesiDealHunter is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
